Current Lesson Plan Line-Up: SPRING

                Current Lesson Plan Line-Up
 Spring Lesson Plan Line-Up
We are currently asking for ideas for lessons that are taught in Spring.  It can be a spring topic, such as flowers, new life, animals, or whatever your curriculum or textbook dictates for this time of the year.

Good news! You do not have to use the Lesson Plan format as presented on this site! All you have to do is write you idea for a spring lesson in the comments sector or send an email describing your idea as far as subject, age level, activity, books, supplies, worksheets etc. that you may have with this idea.  If you have the idea for a manipulative or worksheet, but don't have time to  make it up or include it, just describe it and leave it to us.

Easy? I hope so and I hope to hear from many more of you!

We recently ran a 'test' of this new system with a test group, and had an overwhelming response on the theme of Pi Day.  Those lesson ideas, along with manipulatives, worksheets etc. is now in the process of being compiled. Winners will be announced as soon as that is completed, and you will receive your free book hopefully within the next month.  Please be patient, this is actually our first real run through the process.
Thank you to all who participated. You brought joy to my heart to see this come together. ~Marie

Below will be the Lesson Plans submitted for consideration in our
book themed: WINTER CELEBRATIONS & EXPLORATIONS!The first LESSON LINE UP challenge is to share lesson plans or activities that you do with your class before, during or after the winter holidays. Because we are considerate of the various multicultural activities that occur at this time of the year, the lesson plans could address all or one of the many holidays, such as Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Diwali etc. The lesson plans may concentrate on winter themes such as snowmen, snowflakes, sledding etc. Lessons may be as simple as making a paper ornament/picture, or as complicated as a unit on a culture and their celebrations of a season. Please try to connect your lesson with the Common Core Standards if you can
.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING YOUR LESSON PLAN IS DECEMBER 8,2014. PLEASE BE SURE TO VOTE FOR THE LESSONS YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE PUBLISHED BY DECEMBER 15,2014. YOU MAY VOTE BY INDICATING THE NUMBER OF THE LESSON PLANS (UP TO FIVE) THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE PUBLISHED IN THE COMMENTS SECTION FOLLOWING THIS PAGE. TO VOTE YOU MUST BE A SUBSCRIBER.

Please vote for your favorite ideas. Those plans that are chosen will be included in our published book. Authors of the plans will receive a free copy of the book.  If you did not submit a lesson or your lesson was not chosen, you will be able to purchase a copy of the book.
