CELEBRATE EARTH WEEK!  Close out with a big battaboom!

Don't stop now, we have two more days of Earth Week! Keep the party going!  Friday being the last school day of Earth Week might be the day to throw a culminating event, a party or maybe a little class time outside if you are in a climate that allows for outdoor activities.

Earth Day Books are still free for subscribing! No hook, gimmicks or charges FREE AS FREE CAN BE.  Sign up in the right column. Tell all your friends.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR EARTH DAY!

What can you do outside?  You could lay down bug grids with string and Popsicle sticks. Each student makes a square about 12" x 12" with 4 Popsicle sticks and blocks it off with the string.  Then the student makes a data sheet where they record what insects came into their square of the grid. This can be again when it gets warmer, and the count is sure to be different.

Stay tuned for more outdoor activities....
